Every day we make decisions about where to direct our focus, our attention, our time, and our efforts. But how do you decide? When tasks, responsibilities, duties, and opportunities all scream for your attention, how do you determine what is the priority?
In this episode, I give you six questions to ask yourself when an opportunity presents itself. You won't need to ask every question every single time, but working your way through this list will help you narrow down your options and lead you to the answer you're seeking.
1. Does this fall under the umbrella of loving God and loving others?
2. Is this thing loving toward myself?
3. Is it a clear and definite YES?
4. Is it an emergency?
5. What season am I in?
6. Does this align with my larger goals?
